Madison Park renovation
We just wrapped up a fabulous project in the Charlotte neighborhood of Madison Park! This project consisted of many different pieces. Our client purchased this 1950's home last spring and knew right away that she wanted to make some structural changes in order for it to truly work for her.
The entry was very small and closed in and this was one change she wanted to make.
Here is the FINISHED new entry way....
One of her main goals for the renovation was to create a good sized master suite with a master bathroom and large closet. She also wanted to create a small space for an office. She had an idea of opening up the stairway wall to the right side of the entry and building a new wall to separate the oversized front living room. This would create the space needed for the office and the master bedroom on the other side.
This was the existing mater bedroom with a small closet, and the existing full bathroom in the hallway.
After installing a steel beam and framing in the new bathroom, here is the new master suite!
Another part of this project consisted of creating an open concept in the kitchen and living areas. This also required a steel beam and taking down lots of walls! But the finish product is pretty awesome we think!
And now for the AFTER:
The powder bathroom got a quick facelift, with some fabulous new hexagon marble flooring, new vanity and new mirror...
And now for some fun detail pictures of the master bathroom.... Our client wanted a clean and sleek design and think that's exactly what she got, full of carrara marble in all shapes and sizes!
We have loved working on this project with such a fantastic client! Hope you like the transformation! Contact us to start the discussion for your next renovation! Remember, we are a full Design-Build firm that assists with all stages of brainstorming and designing through to construction!
